In the curation phase, a lot is happening. This is also when we’re completing those gorgeous renderings + creating visual aids for you + the construction team that clearly communicate our design for your bathroom renovation.

From demo day through electrical, plumbing, tile + even cabinetry install — your bathroom renovation looks like a construction zone *wink*
Once you see the finished project, you’ll be overwhelmed with joy, happiness, and excitement that this space is yours.
From-start-to-finish, our team schedules + meets with contractors to answer questions while ensuring every last detail of the project is going according to our design. Along with your contractor, we strive to keep you in the loop (as much as you’d like to know) so you’re aware of exactly what to expect next + when completion is.
Speaking of completion, we do a final walk-through to create a punch-list of anything that needs to be fixed, touched-up or adjusted.
And when they’re all done, our full-service design team comes in to add the finishing touches + install the soft goods + accessories. Pop, fizz, clink —hello, beautiful, it’s celebration time!

Make Any Necessary Arrangements
Alright — now how else can you prepare for your bathroom remodel?
From considering where you’ll shower, brush your teeth + get ready, to also what you’ll do with your four-legged friends — preparing for a bathroom renovation has quite a few things to account for.
If this is a large-scale renovation where the bathroom is a part of the project but not the entire project, then many of our clients choose to stay at one of our preferred air b&b’s OR at a hotel with a preferred rate.
If not, it’s simply a matter of considering how everyday life will unfold over the next several weeks. What does your daily routine look like now + how might it be interrupted by this project?
From there, you’re listing out anything that you need to ensure you have in place before construction begins.
Remove All Personal Belongings
Certainly, we can’t start whisking sledge-hammers of glory around, if your nice things are still sitting in their drawers! Before we kick off your bathroom remodel project, we’ll always have you empty your vanity/drawers/medicine cabinets etc. + remove any personal items. The last thing we want is for anything to get lost or broken.
And many of our clients love that they get access to our in-house professional organizer to help not only pack everything up + remove it ahead of time but to bring it back in + help set up those organizing systems :)
