THE BACKSTORY

In the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle, Washington is a charming traditional-style walkup. Like many new construction homes, after moving in with furniture they’d accumulated years ago, the home felt unfinished. From fully furnishing + styling the lounge, master bedroom + all the transition areas in this home, our client wanted to come home each day feeling like everything was thought of in her home.

She blushed at the thought of a home that told her story + shared her life adventures without saying anything at all. A home that truly resonated with her + had everything she needed + nothing more. She dreamt of hosting dinner parties in her lounge with close friends where everyone felt a sense of comfort, quietly retreating for a good book in her dreamy master suite + walking the halls of her home feeling connected to places she'd lived long ago.
